A Global Leader Experience (GLE) invites 100 UoE students from at least 25 nationalities to work together over 4 days to explore a major world challenge from a local perspective – it involves a partnership between the University, City of Edinburgh Council and The Wheatley Group. It will address the issue, How do you prevent city sprawl? and students will engage with key stakeholders groups related to the partner organisations to fully research, understand and respond to the challenge.
Common Purpose, a social enterprise with over 25 years’ experience in leadership development programmes will work with students to enable people from different backgrounds, sectors, geographies and generations to work together to solve common problems.
The programme is open to UGs and PGs and will take place 16-19 February at John McIntyre Centre. There’s no cost to participate, but full commitment must be given.
